Changing nature of Politics and Politicians amid 2023 general election in Nigeria

Politics is a game that deals with humans. It is not an abstract thing.

Unfortunately, most politicians in Nigeria, sees election as something you can win with money. They see it as a do or die affair. The use of many techniques such as hate speech, invoking people's needs just to hide their own greed and selfish interest, blackmail, voodoo, violent attacks and all manners of barbaric acts still exist.

Some, when they finally lands in the corridors of power, they tend to run the State as a dynasty. Dishing out appointments, contracts and other forms of resource allocations in a manner that is devoid of meritocracy and against the principles of fairness and equity.

The above, if not tamed, will gradually pave the way to acrimony, national loyalty will whither and give rise to tribal, and regional loyalties. Money politics coupled with Violence, suppression and all antics of hostilities will be employed to win an election, run a Government and it becomes a vicious circle of elitist groups with negative Political behaviour.

Nigeria needs to be saved. The youths must arise and fight against the politics of the old, by the old and for the old.

We need a leader with vision. Someone who can steer the ship of leadership towards the path of a developmental State and in a sustainable way.

Say no to electoral violence, money politics, politics of the old for the old and by the old.

Say no to corrupt politicians,

Say no to Politicians without a verifiable certificates,

Say no to Politicians with zero moral and ethical standards and track records.

Say Yes to:

Accountable, Responsible, Agile and Young Political Aspirants cum Politicians.

Say yes to Politicians with verifiable certificates, moral and ethical track records

Say yes to Politicians that think in the line of meritocracy over mediocrity and favouritism

Say yes to Politicians that sees Nigeria as a country for all and sundry. Not as a country for one tribal or regional dominance.

Say yes to Politicians who sees good governance as a mandate and respects all the pillars of Democracy.

Think about this if you are a Nigerian, home or abroad.

The Unification of our fathers land and a dream of a better tomorrow is my motivation. May God help us all in achieving a greater Nigera.
